The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for administering accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing for multiple Boasso Global domestic companies. This position requires a very detailed oriented person with strong communication, customer service, time management, teamwork and organization skills. All payrolls and payroll related tasks must be managed in compliance with company policy and US federal, state and local laws.
Hybrid position located in our Channelside office. Only candidates in the Tampa Bay area will be considered.
Work Week Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm Eastern, Monday - Friday
Essential Functions
Process full cycle weekly and bi-weekly payroll across multiple states while following strict and time sensitive deadlines
Enter, maintain and process pay data in ADP. This information may include employees’ bonuses, worked and non-worked hours, paid time off, hourly rates, salaries, earnings and deductions
Maintain payroll compliance by following company policy and becoming familiar with US federal, state and local laws
Audit new hires, terminations, job changes, salary changes and status change data in ADP after entry is completed for accuracy
Monitor the payroll email inbox daily to provide timely and accurate responses to employees and customers inquiries.
Communicate effectively with employees and managers regarding payroll related topics that may occur during payroll processing or payroll related tasks
Audit and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy and compliance
Process and manage garnishment withholding orders
Maintain payroll information, files and records for compliance
Prepare and distribute standard and ad hoc payroll reports as needed
Provide backup support to other members of the payroll team as needed
Performs other related duties or projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or higher
3 or more years of full cycle Payroll Processing
Knowledge of US Federal, State, local tax laws and regulations
Minimum basic mathematics capability for manually calculating gross to net pay, overtime pay, wages, taxes, payroll totals, etc.
Strong communication skills, ability to professionally interact with all levels of internal customers
Intermediate level in Microsoft office
Detail oriented with the ability to effectively multi-task
Ability to adapt quickly to change, prioritize, and organize workload to meet time sensitive deadlines
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work independently and as an effective part of the Payroll team
