Description Overview

We are currently looking for a Sr Manager Digital & eCommerce to join our team. This high-performing Digital & eCommerce Sr. Manager role will lead and align strategic digital marketing initiatives that result in effective brand, promotional and product marketing plans that expand brand relevance, create engagement, increase consideration, and drive sales for the business. As a strategic function of Perrigo's Digital/eCommerce team, this role will contribute directly to Perrigo's commercial success and remain steadfast in our pursuit of digital excellence in market. This person will create, recommend, and test strategies and initiatives that improve the shopping experience for online shoppers and increase sales and market share.

Scope of the Role

  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to maximize our products’ digital shelf ranking, visibility, conversion, and sales.
  • Ensure our products have best in class content and optimized search and conversion enablers that work synergistically to deliver strongest results for our products. This includes optimizing for all aspects of content (e.g. titles, descriptions, features and benefits, images, videos, back-end keywords, enhanced content) as well as business fundamentals (e.g. availability, seasonality, promo and advertising offers and timing, search word targeting).
  • Lead Digital/eCommerce mid to lower funnel campaign strategies that complement upper funnel tactics including Retailer Segmentation, building eSearch strategy, promotional drive times strategy, national and customer specific lower funnel creative across solo brand, multi brand and new item campaigns. Partners with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Graphics to implement tactics that align with that strategy.
  • Measure and analyze product and content performance to identify trends and insights that translate into actionable plans, continuously optimize e-commerce and market penetration.
  • Own the development of Retail Digital/eCommerce investment strategy across performance marketing expense (A&P) and Trade; influence the Business Units on how the final budgets should be allocated for Digital/eCommerce.
  • Serve as the SME on retailer marketing ecosystems for the Business. Share digital standard methodologies across Business Units.
  • Oversee brand websites: Ensure website content is on-brand, with style and quality consistency, and optimized for both within-site search (to improve user experience) and external SEO. Monitor web traffic and user engagement to evaluate content performance through analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and make data-driven decisions to enhance content effectiveness.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of CPG Digital/eCommerce marketing experience - Thorough knowledge and experience overseeing Digital Marketing including developing digital strategies, eCommerce technologies, and omni channel best practices.
  • 2 years of experience leading people preferred.
  • Strong experience around Web analytics, SEO optimization, SEM, A/B testing, & Retail Digital media efforts. Fluency in the digital tools required to optimize KPIs (like ROAS, CTR, CVR, CPA, AOV, & LTV), and an ability to track performance data across multiple platforms and interpret and report on data to deliver helpful insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to develop, monitor and adapt a tactical plan to achieve business growth goals.
  • Strong leadership qualities but also very much hands on with ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Experience working with Brick and Click websites, eRetailers and Marketplaces.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Merchandising and product Category Management.
