Indenovo Global is partnered with a dynamic, mid-large sized Ophthalmology group seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to oversee and optimize the operational efficiency of their ophthalmology service facilities and ASCs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare operations management, preferably with a specific focus on ophthalmology services. This role requires strategic leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals to enhance patient care delivery and service excellence.
Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including staffing, equipment, and facilities, to ensure efficient daily clinical and ASC operations and exceptional patient experiences.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and patient safety.
Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance and RCM team to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality of care.
Staff Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to operational staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement technological advancements and systems that enhance operational efficiency and support clinical workflows.
Patient Experience: Drive initiatives to enhance the patient experience through streamlined processes, improved communication, and responsiveness to patient feedback.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience (7+ years) in healthcare operations management, preferably within ophthalmology or related medical specialties.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving operational excellence.
Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Benefits:
$140,000-$180,000 base range with opportunity for 20% bonus, extensive benefits (401k match, full medical coverage inc. dental and vision, relocation package, flexible PTO plan).

Candidates must be able to commute and travel to ophthalmic locations and ASCs as needed, up to 70%. Driving license ideal but not necessary.
