Senior Director Global Media Transformation

In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the PepsiCo’s media transformation efforts. You will build and foster strong media partnerships with our media agencies and platforms partners to achieve best-in-class media processes and governance. You will collaborate with internal cross-market and sector stakeholders to ensure that the PepsiCo is leveraging the latest media Adtech and Martech technologies to achieve scaled consistent global adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a transformative global media strategy that aligns with the PepsiCo’s overall marketing transformation agenda of powering positive growth.
  • Lead PepsiCo’s approach to media governance and compliance to make A&M work harder through holistic cost management, media spend governance/productivity and agency ecosystem management.
  • In partnership with S&T team, develop the inhouse media governance and compliance capabilities so PEP becomes more self-reliant in this area whilst keeping the right balance btw inhouse vs external auditors’ support ie quarterly media productivity tracking and FY validation, ad spend verification
  • Working in partnership to deploy Media technology Standards and Roadmap Evolution for standard score carding
  • Build and manage strategic advantageous partnership with media partners and vendors building principles and playbooks keeping PEP at the forefront of execution.
  • Identify media and marketing innovation white spaces: Deliver new tools and platforms to bring to life overall media model evolution (across TV, mobile, digital, programmatic, etc.)
  • Act as the connective tissue between Global and Local marketing teams – Lead communication across multiple stakeholder groups with the goal of effectively scaling marketing capabilities across new markets/brands
  • Stakeholder management with active communication and education at key sector and market level

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $146,100 - $289,900 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 30% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of media strategy or agency management experience
  • Media expert, with a track record of understanding and driving the media value-chain process.
  • Well-aware of the MarTech / AdTech ecosystem (of different tech/platforms, data, general economics (fees, pricing models etc.)) together with good industry relationships
  • Complex problem solver who can define, assess, and solve, and communicate back to leadership in a clear and concise fashion
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and build connections with key stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with others for a better solution
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Preferably international experience, working with multi-country/multi-discipline/site teams and matrix organization;
