Job Summary: The Senior Director will be the lead with key clients across the business and should be able to manage major programs and clients with minimal direction. This role will have a large focus on growth within the sports and entertainment activation and hospitality verticals. In addition, this role will focus on driving revenue through new and existing clients, reporting to the SVP, Business Development.
Essential Job Functions:
· Act as client main point contact through entire project life cycle
· Manage, oversee, and coordinate all required event day activities to deliver a world class event
· Lead all internal and external project teams, including project hand off meetings to internal SME business functions
· Manage project specific budgets to maximize revenue and cost efficiencies
· Arrange for and book events, develop relationships with promoters, local contacts and event entertainment vendors
· Schedule and lead conference calls and in person meetings with the client
· Problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project
· Create and submit invoices to controller for processing
· Organize, file, and maintain all project documents
· Create and adhere to project timeline and calendar
· Consult with and gather information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.
· Maintain positive vendor and client relationships
· Develop revenue driving strategies within existing business and new business
· Participate and lead in concepting of new business inquiries and ideation
· Manage all contracts and estimates
· Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
· Facilitate communications between office and field staff
· Lead and complete special assigned side projects
· Available to respond to emergency project needs after hours including nights, weekends and holidays
· On site lead as determined based on project needs
Qualifications:
· College Degree preferred
· 8+ years industry experience – events, experiential, hospitality
· Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Suite
· Strong business acumen
· Organized and detail-oriented
· Skilled collaborator
· Excellent communicator both orally and written
· Comfortable self-starting assigned projects
· Confident and eager to engage with clients
Pay Range:
This role will pay a salary of $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience with participation in sales bonus plan.
