We are seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer to join our esteemed client, an international health company, with work expected in alignment with our US office (EST) hours. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, technical proficiency, and strong collaboration skills, essential for driving success within our dynamic environment.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years working experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce based application
  • Understanding of QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies
  • Strong working experience in testing API
  • Basic understanding of client-server architecture
  • Hands-on experience in working in an Agile team and a good understanding of the Software evelopment Life Cycle
  • Basic SQL: Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries for data validation and testing.
  • Browsers and Mobile Testing: Experience with cross-browser testing and mobile testing on various devices and operating systems.
  • Salesforce security (OWD – object access, profile access, private/public records, permission sets, sharing rules, master-detail relationship)
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce Clouds (difference, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud knowledge is preferable)
  • Custom Objects and Fields: Understanding how to test custom objects, fields, and relationships in Salesforce.
  • Workflows and Process Builder: Ability to test Salesforce automation tools such as workflows, process builder, and approval processes.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Experience in coordinating and supporting UAT with business users.
  • Ability to work within a team and also independently, with minimal supervision
  • High level of attention to details
  • Intermediate or higher level spoken and written English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills



Responsibilities:


  • Writing test cases, bug reports, executing tests, and recording the results
  • Manage all the testing activities, coordination, overall test planning, estimation, risk mitigation, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining Test Plans and other testing documents
  • Conducting defect triage meetings – providing details about the defects to the team
  • Being the testing lead for assigned projects and being responsible for the expected quality levels
  • Performing Sanity, Integration, Regression, System, Performance testing
  • Support UAT
  • Leading walkthroughs of the system for team members and clients
  • Participating in planning sessions for testing which include story points and acceptance criteria.)
  • Proactive communication with team
