Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and innovative Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing robotic systems and components. Roles And Responsibilities

  • Robotics System Design and Development:
    • Design and develop robotic systems, mechanisms, and components based on project requirements and specifications.
    • Create detailed technical designs, CAD models, and simulations to validate concepts and optimize performance.
  • Programming and Control Systems:
    • Develop control algorithms and software for robotic systems, including motion planning, navigation, and sensor integration.
    • Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time control and decision-making in robotic applications.
  • Hardware Integration and Testing:
    • Integrate electromechanical components, actuators, sensors, and electronics into robotic platforms.
    • Conduct system-level testing, debugging, and validation to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers to integrate subsystems and achieve project goals.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, solve technical challenges, and drive innovation in robotics technology.
  • Prototyping and Iterative Development:
    • Build and iterate prototypes to demonstrate feasibility, validate design concepts, and gather feedback for improvement.
    • Implement design changes and optimizations based on testing results and stakeholder feedback.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operating procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols in robotics development.
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Stay updated with advancements in robotics technology, industry trends, and emerging methodologies.
    • Contribute to research projects, publish findings, and explore new applications for robotics in various domains.
Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven experience (X+ years) as a Robotics Engineer, Robotics Software Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on designing and developing robotic systems.
  • Strong proficiency in robotics hardware design, including CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Experience in robotics programming languages (e.g., C++, Python) and ROS (Robot Operating System) framework.
  • Knowledge of control systems, motion planning algorithms, sensor fusion, and perception techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic actuators, sensors, vision systems, and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with robotic simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, V-REP) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are advantageous.
