Responsibilities
- Lead Road Noise attribute development, analyses, assessments and issue resolution using both analytical tools and vehicle testing
- Interface with Design, Vehicle Dynamics, and other attributes to develop cross-attribute solutions
- Independently run vehicle tests, including data acquisition and analysis as well as subjective evaluations
- Develop presentations/reports summarizing results; lead discussions
- Participate in Road Noise core projects (method/metric/target development, process improvements, etc.)
- Work will primarily be done on-site (i.e. not remote), collaborating with team members, working on parts and vehicles in the test garage and labs.
You'll have…
- BS in engineering
- 2-3 years Product Development experience preferred
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn required
- Knowledge or experience with acoustics and vibrations a plus
- Ability to work both independently and in teams, as necessary
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Please include analytical skills (e.g. statistical, FEA, Matlab, LMS, other programming) in your resume and application
- Post-graduate degree in Engineering, Acoustics or Physics
- Experience using NVH data acquisition systems
- Knowledge of automotive vehicle design (especially suspension, tires and/or body structures)
- Experience with Python, Matlab, and or other programing tools
