Research Associate / Paid Intern, 3D printable biofuel cells

DeVine is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.

Our company is looking for a Research Associate, with 3D printing and biofuel cells research experience, to join our team in Monterey, CA. Current university students are encouraged to apply if they have relevant academic experience. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.

Our client will be conducting research in 3D printable biofuel cells from this summer through the end of the year at a minimum. The succsessful hire will conduct design, experimental testing, and optimizations of 3D-printed biofuel cell chips and arrays.

Some of this work may be done remotely though the new hire will need to be in Monterey California regularily. If you have the relevant experience and can be in Monterey California this summer then please apply!

Requirements

• College education in a STEM field. Could be an ongoing program, e.g. for a current college student. The STEM field must be physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or sufficiently closely related field
• At least one year of experience with experimental research in a STEM field
• At least one year of experience with 3D printed devices
• At least one year of experience with microfluidics
• At least one year of experience in biofuel cells research
• Experience with CAD (computer-assisted design)
