Responsibilities Include:
Track competitors' activity and trends and relevant developments in the advertising industry, the tech industry, and global policy by attending events, speaking with industry leaders, reading the news, interviewing experts, etc.
Research specific emerging industry issues as requested by the analyst lead
Assist with proofreading and editing of industry intelligence content, including memos, reports, and briefings
Coordinate the distribution and publication of reports; build out internal database of industry intelligence
Help shape Meta industry engagement and marketing strategy, contribute to events programming and marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
Analytical skills and ability to think critically and structurally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Storyteller with experience synthesizing complex information
Research experience in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting information
Avid news reader with a proven interest in business, technology, marketing, and/or policy trends
BA degree in International Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, Political Science, or a related field
4+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in marketing industry and/or tech industry, especially with developers
Creative thinker familiar with critical perspectives on tech and marketing industries
Experience working with and briefing senior executives
