Recruitment Marketing Director

Division: STEM

Salary: $150k - $200k

The STEM Recruitment Marketing Director will lead the strategic marketing efforts to attract and hire visionary Program Managers (PMs) for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). This role involves developing and executing comprehensive recruitment marketing and grassroots campaigns to identify, engage, and recruit top-tier talent from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to fulfill ARPA-H's mission of solving the nation’s most challenging health-related problems.

Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on STEM fields and/or recruitment marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
  • U.S. Citizenship required and the ability to pass a background check.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Tlimited To

  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan detailing all marketing and engagement efforts for PM candidate sourcing.
  • Ensure the marketing strategy aligns with ARPA-H's goals of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA).
  • Oversee the creation and execution of targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital media, print publications, and in-person events.
  • Manage advertising efforts in scientific journals, professional magazines, and other appropriate media to attract potential PM candidates.
  • Coordinate with universities, research institutions, industry leaders, and professional organizations to promote ARPA-H opportunities.
  • Organize and participate in information sessions, workshops, and conferences to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Enhance and maintain ARPA-H's brand presence in the STEM community.
  • Develop marketing materials that effectively communicate ARPA-H's mission, values, and opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Work closely with the STEM Recruiting Director and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the ARPA-H communications team to amplify outreach efforts and leverage existing communication channels.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and recruitment outcomes.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize recruitment efforts.
  • Evaluate the return on investment for various marketing activities and optimize budget allocation accordingly.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
