Methodist Le Bonheur Health System in Memphis, TN seeks a Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Health Team. In addition to our expertise in areas such as neuroscience, oncology, transplant, and pediatric care, we are now seeking to build a team of behavioral health providers to help us more comprehensively meet the mental and emotional needs of our patients through the integration of behavioral health into our medical teams. Thus far, we have begun this focus in our primary care clinics (both adult and pediatric) through the integration of behavioral health consultants on our care teams. We are now looking to add a psychiatrist to expand the excellent behavioral health integration we have begun in ambulatory care.
Our Ideal Candidate is:
An expert in treating adolescents, adults, and older adults (65+) who may present with complex psychiatric and medical co-morbidities
Willing and eager to collaborate with medical provider colleagues as well as behavioral health consultants integrated within the ambulatory practices
Aid in program development as we seek to continue to build integrated behavioral health across the healthcare system
Able to provide clinical supervision to up to 3 psychiatric nurse practitioners as we expand services in the future
