Education: 4yr degree in CM or Engineering preferred but construction experience looked at and applicable.
Take-off and estimating experience a plus
Experience with CM software; P6, Project, Excel.
Past construction experience (employment or internship)
Salary will be based on experience (rage 60K to 80K)
Willing to work within a 50 mile radius of our home office and travel to and from construction project sites

MANAGEMENT
Monitors and controls various aspects of project as assignments are delegated from the Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent.
Identifies and evaluates problems on the project and initiates corrective action necessary. Uses Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent as resources to discuss actions and suggestions.
Identifies, negotiates and processes contract Change Orders as directed by the Project Manager.
Coordinates and processes submittals including product data, shop drawings and other documentation required by the Contract Specifications.
Coordinates field activities including Subcontracts as delegated by the Project Superintendent.
Administers the Project Contract to ensure performance under the General Terms and Conditions.
Ensures effectiveness of communications within the department and between departments. (Make sure your message is being received and that you understand direction given to you.)
Performs Subcontract Administration responsibilities including negotiating agreements, writing subcontract scope descriptions, procurement of materials, processing of change orders, processing submittals, etc.
Performs Contract Closeout activities ensuring all cost issues are properly and promptly addressed, As-Builts are completed, O & M Manuals are submitted and all documentation is processed in accordance with Contract Agreements.
Produces Construction Schedules based on experience and provides support with estimating project costs in support of Business Development activities.
Is open to the use of new technology to benefit our company and industry.
Takes on and completes all tasks associated with their position, no matter how significant.
WA Patriot contracts as a General Contractor and a Design-Builder. Knowledge and understanding of the Design-Build contracting method is beneficial.
