Title – Project Engineer, Houston, TX

We are seeking a Project Engineer with 2-3 years’ experience who will work under the direct supervision of a Project Manager. This position will manage the generation of post purchase order documentation such as shop drawings from engineering team and commercial documents. The ideal candidate will be a good multitasker and have exceptional organization skills to keep track of several projects at various stages of completion ranging from shop drawing approval, manufacturing, shipment, installation, and commissioning.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and maintain master project spreadsheet with status of various project submittals
• Prepare, monitor and control all project schedules and milestones
• Schedule and assign O&M manual preparation and submission to client
• Review design changes, specifications and all documentation releases
• Assist in reviewing contract terms and conditions with department head.
  
  

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied engineering sciences
• 2-3 years of project management experience directing multiple projects
• Work well under pressure with passion for excellence and a high sense of urgency
• Strong computer skills required. Ability to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing
