The Los Angeles Chargers are excited to add an experienced, high-performing sales professional to join our suite sales team. This position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth while also developing the Chargers’ presence in the Southern California business community. The ideal candidate is a savvy, competitive, top-producing sales professional with a proven track record of helping organizations achieve revenue targets in both B2B and high-end B2C environments.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This position will be based out of SoFi Stadium and the Chargers sales office, located near LAX Airport.
Responsibilities:
Sell multi-year suite lease agreements to companies and high net-worth clientele
Develop, maintain, and grow book of business for single game suite rentals
Actively prospect daily by employing various tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, etc.
Conduct sales presentations at SoFi Stadium, offsite at prospect locations and virtually, when necessary
Utilize a consultative approach to direct clients/prospects to the appropriate product/solution
Earn referral business by recommending appropriate solutions to your clients and exceeding their expectations
Embrace and utilize Salesforce to track all activities for efficient lead management, pipeline management and record keeping/reporting
Identify and creatively engage new connections by effectively communicating the value that the Los Angeles Chargers offer their key stakeholders year-round.
Collaborate daily and work with your teammates to discover best practices for sales and prospecting
Work gamedays to host qualified prospects and assist with service needs for clients
Attend various events throughout Southern California for prospecting purposes as required
Meet and exceed individual sales goals and face-to-face meeting targets
Qualifications / Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a specific focus on premium or luxury suite sales in a professional sports or similar entertainment environment
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, performance-based culture
Proven track record of achieving sales success in a remote/virtual environment
Professional maturity and established business acumen
Coachable with a growth mindset
Competitive desire and highly motivated to perform at a high-level
Strong B2B prospecting skills
Solution-based/consultative sales approach
Excellent pipeline management skills
