Summary

The Manager, Partnership Marketing is responsible for execution and fulfillment of the Club’s corporate partnerships, consisting of Club trademark and promotional rights, stadium signage, media (broadcast, social & digital), consumer promotions, stadium promotions, special events, community relations programs, hospitality, and cause marketing initiatives, all with a with a focus on delivering measurable return on investment for each assigned corporate partner relationship. In addition to creating upsell opportunities for corporate partners and focused on the retention and renewal of existing Club partnerships.

Primary Job Duties

The Manager, Partnership Marketing will have responsibilities, without limitation, to include the following:

  • Manage the execution and activation of the Club's mid-level to significant corporate partnerships.
  • Assist in various special projects and tentpole events, while collaborating with all key stakeholders to advance the goals and priorities of the Arizona Cardinals organization.
  • Develop a clear understanding of partners' individual business goals and initiatives and strategize team opportunities to maximize.
  • Consistently identify new ways of generating incremental revenue through account upsell and renewal discussions.
  • Work closely with marketing/promotions, entertainment, and community relations departments to develop and implement successful promotions, charitable events, and entertainment features to ensure they meet corporate partner goals and objectives and provide maximum return on investment.
  • Assist with maintaining records of all asset implementation including ticket logs, costs, promotions, artwork deadlines and due dates, events/functions, and communications.
  • Assist with production of corporate partner ROI reports that include a detailed proof of performance of all activities including documentation of all sponsorship deliverables - signage, radio & TV spots, promotional activity and results, VIP parties, tickets, program/media guide ads, and any and all marketing/sponsorship assets.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Club related special events.
  • Develop strong business relationships with existing and potential corporate partners.
  • Effectively communicate across all areas of the company including but not limited to sales, marketing, content, community relations, team charities, ticketing, and finance departments.
  • Work closely with the corporate sales department to manage corporate partnerships, and to ensure that current partners receive superior service and comprehensive fulfillment and execution of all contractual elements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or communications.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of client account management or sponsorship experience
  • Skills in client service or account management with an emphasis in professional sports team or with an advertising agency
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word, and CRM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of client service, marketing and sports and event sponsorship programs
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop outstanding internal and external business relationships
  • Proactive problem solver, possessing a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to work all Arizona Cardinals home games, long hours, irregular schedules, weekend, early morning, late-night and holiday work assignments
  • Good attitude and a commitment to teamwork
