The Opportunity:

As a Manager in our Key Cities Program, you will be a driving force in our support the launch and scale of a cross-functional initiative to return Grubhub’s core business to growth in stronghold markets by defining, developing and managing all insights, reporting and market measurement for prioritized markets. Focus initially on 1-2 key markets (CHI, NYC). Success will be achieved by identifying and investigating key trends and market dynamics that can subsequently inform areas of opportunity, focus and further investment. Additionally, you will ensure an analytical and data-driven approach that can be scaled to additional key cities.

The Impact You’ll Make:

In this influential role, you'll leave a mark on our enterprise through the following:

• Develop monitoring and reporting infrastructure in the form of dashboards and similar mechanisms (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to track and share market performance and outcomes of key cities; measure and assess how the key cities program strategy positions the prioritized market(s) to outperform the broader Grubhub portfolio
• Partner and collaborate with cross-functional team members on designing and executing test programs in key cities that help to more closely understand patterns and trends in a market that need to be remedied or mitigated, especially where a key city (or region within the key city) is lagging behind other GH markets or competitors in a given market
• Identify, design and lead related market analysis that deep dives into specific areas of the operating model (diner behavior, supply, service, value) to shape daily business decisions and investment opportunities; analysis should help to improve and optimize our business and operating performance
• Prepare monthly reports for the executive leadership team detailing progress Grubhub is making in the prioritized key cities
• Assist in the scaling of the Key Cities program to next set of key cities (6+ by end of Q32025)
• Serve as an advocate and representative of Key Cities within other functional teams and across the organization, in order to influence perception and merit of the Key Cities program

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in strategy, data analysis and project management
• Leadership Skills: Exemplify seasoned leadership, demonstrating the ability to navigate autonomously through ambiguous situations, steering initiatives, and inspiring a high-performing team.
• Project Management: Proven success executing end-to-end initiatives including managing project timelines and implementations with little oversight or support from manager including cross-functional project management skills
• Data Driven: Proficiency in campaign analysis, using data to prove results and inform future strategy; comfort with SQL is a plus
• Collaborative Approach: Showcase your aptitude for working collaboratively across various internal parts of the company, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a seamless flow of information and resources.
• Executive-Facing Excellence: Demonstrate proficiency in preparing for and leading executive-facing meetings, synthesizing key insights and presenting compelling solutions, and building trust through effective communication.

NY Salary Range: $103,500 - $155,500

The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.
