Litigation Counsel (Pharmaceutical Industry)

We are currently seeking a Litigation Attorney to manage a docket of False Claims Act cases and advise on inquiries and investigations from federal regulators for a leading U.S pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities

  • Support a market-leading pharmaceutical company by managing their litigation docket, advising on government investigations, and ensuring efficient case progression and strategy alignment within pharmaceutical industry best practices and standards.
  • Respond to regulators, ensuring compliance and effective representation for the company's interests.
  • Handle False Claims Act litigation, providing expert legal counsel and strategic direction specific to the manufacturing and sale of pharmaceuticals.
  • Engage with State Attorneys General and federal regulators, adopting both defensive and proactive postures to address and resolve legal issues impacting the industry.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of litigation experience, with specific experience working within a government agency.
  • Proven track record in handling complex litigation, particularly involving the False Claims Act and other matters related to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the administrative process, with experience collaborating closely with federal regulators to strengthen relationships and ensure that best practices in the industry are upheld.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to drive company policy and work effectively with internal and external counsel.
  • Ability to work on-site in Manhattan, NY, for 2-3 days per week on average, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to in-person collaboration within a corporate in-house legal team. Exceptional candidates that are not located in New York can be considered.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $205,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
