The salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000.

INSPIRE is seeking a motivated, professional person to join our staff as a Lighting Director in Colorado Springs, CO, working with stage and event lighting equipment for corporate events/conferences.

Lighting Director (LD)

Shows & Events

• Lighting fixture setup and focus, Electrical and dimmer controls, Lighting Console programming and operation.
• Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment
• Strong computer skills – CAD or Vectorworks a plus
• General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge
• Pull Equipment, Load In, Set up, Operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties
• Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Other Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients both internal and external.
• Maintain a professional image in compliance with company appearance/dress code.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Will have 3 – 5 years of experience in the Event Technology field working in a hotel/convention center environment.
• Demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in live events, through relevant work, volunteer experience, or education in an Event Technology field.
• Must have basic knowledge of live event stage lighting, and the ability to learn and master new equipment and systems.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor, and be efficient in the use of time management.
