Responsibilities
Work under the Home Performance Manager and within the Home Performance Department. Successfully complete utility based full energy assessments, as well as analyze efficiency of HVAC equipment. Identify areas of improvement and create solutions to deliver more energy efficiency within the home.
Train and become proficient in whole house performance which includes heat loss, air exchanges and insulation R – ratings.
Identify energy efficiency with HVAC and domestic hot water systems.
Improve home performance by providing air sealing and insulation measures.
Perform minor duct repair and modifications for more air flow and insulation around ductwork.
Assist in identifying new window replacements possibilities as well proper installation of construction windows.
Diagnose and report any home efficiency loss.
Deliver and execute all home energy improvements that will provide better comfort and lower energy bills.
Qualifications
The position requires a personable, energetic individual that is hard working and able to communicate with homeowners in a friendly manner as well as work independently and as part of a team.
The candidate must be open to training coming into the company as well as ongoing and looking for personal growth within the company.
The ideal candidate with proper training will be willing to accept promotions with new responsibilities.
Experience in duct cleaning a big plus!
Our work environment is fast-paced and involves strong computer skills to execute each audit successfully.
