Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Lab Assistant Intern. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.
Summary:
Conducts laboratory analyses, experiments, and processes to support research and development projects.
Responsibilities:
Performs sample preparation
Conducts routine experiments and process data for routine work under supervision.
Knowledge and understanding of safety and housekeeping standards and practiced in daily activities.
Learns and keeps familiar with lab procedures.
Keeps a well-documented laboratory notebook and have it co-signed within two weeks.
Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members.
Records and communicates any unexpected differences in test results.
Provides in-depth data analysis summary, using DOE/statistics when applicable.
Education & Credentials:
At least 2nd year college level Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, or other science related degrees.
Knowledge of safety practices in labs, preferred
Lab research experience, preferred
