The Opportunity

Aircraft Performance Group (APG, RocketRoute, Seattle Avionics) is seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven, and highly motivated Junior Product Manager for our global aircraft performance products and services. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional eager to learn and grow in product management. In this role you will be assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of product development activities across our platforms, focusing on return on investment, production, and product release plans aligned with business strategy. The Junior Product Manager will work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities to enhance growth and increase efficiencies.



Key Responsibilities:



Product Development

  • Assist in translating product vision into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Support engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Help prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business and customer impact.


Project Management

  • Aid in developing and managing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support successful product launches.
  • Monitor and report on product performance metrics to support data-driven decisions.


Stakeholder Communication

  • Assist in communicating product status, key decisions, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders as directed.
  • Help prepare and present product updates to senior management.


Customer Focus

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to support product improvements.
  • Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Ensure that the product meets or exceeds customer expectations through ongoing support.


Marketing and Sales Support

  • Work with marketing to help develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Assist in the creation of product marketing materials and sales tools.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on new product features and benefits.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product management or related roles (internships and co-op experience considered).
  • Aviation experience is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
