IT Operations Analyst

Roles And Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Conduct routine system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Incident Management and Support:
• Respond to IT incidents, service requests, and inquiries from end-users and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams or vendors for resolution and follow-up.
• Change and Release Management:
• Assist in managing IT changes, deployments, and releases following established change management processes.
• Coordinate with IT teams to schedule and implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Ensure changes are documented, tested, and communicated effectively to minimize disruption to operations.
• IT Operations Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Create user guides, knowledge base articles, and IT documentation to support end-users and IT staff.
• Update system documentation and inventory records as changes and upgrades are implemented.
• Performance Analysis and Reporting:
• Collect and analyze IT performance data, metrics, and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards on IT system performance, uptime, incidents, and service levels.
• Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing IT operations and enhancing system reliability.
• IT Support and Training:

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Operations Analyst, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems monitoring, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with incident management tools, ITIL framework, and IT service management principles.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, and IT security best practices.
