What You Will Do

The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator makes sure the Company has all the products, materials, equipment and supplies needed to operate efficiently, in alignment with established policies and standards. They also oversee inventory management processes and resolve any issues that arise.

Responsibilities
  • Move materials into correct locations from Receiving, Stockroom, Integrations, or Finished Good locations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organization of storage areas for efficiency and accuracy in storage locations.
  • Ensure inventory is stored according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
  • Track and dispense materials as needed. Update the inventory logs in Excel according to established procedures.
  • Provide recommended changes in processes and policies as needed to minimize inventory inaccuracies.
  • Process forms relating to inventory additions, discrepancies, inventory reconciliation and inventory adjustments.
  • Complete daily cycle count and other related inventory techniques to help ensure 100% physical inventory of all items and locations.
  • Provide inventory-processing guidance to other sections and departments.
  • Build and maintain inventory levels in the management software.
  • Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
  • Provides clerical/administrative support through generating and maintaining forms, reports, and logs via computerized management software, performing weekly inventory.
  • Clerical duties (e.g., filing, keying), entering data and extracting data from multiple systems. Use of computer applications required (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing, and Microsoft Office).
  • Support shipping and receiving functions as applicable:
    • Carry out the daily warehousing and distribution activities, including all inward and outward goods movement.
    • Complete packing and shipping of all domestic and international orders according to established processes, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure all international orders are dispatched with the correct documentation.
    • Work in conjunction with freight carriers to ensure consistency of quality domestic and international service.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

The job requires significant physical activity with considerable standing, walking, stooping and lifting. Must demonstrate ability to repetitively lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, and have ability to occasionally physically lift and move parts weighing up to 100 pounds.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a inventory or logistics role or related position.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • High attention to details.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
Educational Requirements
  • High School diploma or a General Education Development (GED).
Compensation and Benefits
