Insurance Associate

I'm currently working on an Insurance Associate for a Community Solar IPP, based in CT. My client is a leader in the Renewable space, with exciting growth plans, this position has come about from growth at the firm, so the career trajectory for the Associate is unlimited!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of insurance strategies for various community solar projects.
• Manage insurance policy renewals, endorsements, and claims.
• Review and analyze insurance requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to secure appropriate coverage.
• Maintain accurate records of all insurance policies, claims, and related documentation.
• Support risk management initiatives by identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate insurance solutions.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations on insurance-related matters for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in insurance, preferably in the renewable energy or related industries.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage types, and risk management principles.
