Job Title: IT Project Coordinator

Location: Remote (East Coast hours)

Compensation Expectations: $45-50/hour

Project Coordinator

The responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include supporting the project management team in the planning, execution, and completion of projects to achieve project goals and meet established deadlines. In addition, the Project Coordinator will perform various tasks, like maintaining project documentation, along with administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Provide support to project managers and business leaders

Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings

Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings

Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings

Schedule and attend project team meetings

Capture meeting minutes and documents action items/next steps/owners

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

Maintain and monitor project plans and project schedules

Monitor and track tasks, action items, and issues to ensure project deadlines are met

Develop and update project status reports regularly

Experience

3+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator

Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects

Knowledge of full project lifecycle

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Self-starter who can build and foster collaborative relationships

Ability to learn, understand and apply new processes/technologies

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
