In Home Sales Consultant

Job Description

Are you currently a turf or landscaping sales rep looking to join an industry leading company? Maybe you are currently a project or installation manager with a flair for customer service looking to make a change into sales? The In Homes Sales Consultant will be responsible for designing and offering advice to the customer while at the same time selling them on the preferred products. In Homes Sales Consultants will need to use their creativity to give the customers a vision of what their landscape could potentially be. This is a 100% commission-based position.

Job duties: (include but are not limited to the following)

  • Attend any appointments set by the Regional Sales Manager
  • Attend weekly team meetings held at the corporate office(s)
  • Knowledge on all products and services offered
  • Ability to correctly quote customers on site
  • Working with customers on issues with installation
  • Walking sites with customers/subcontractors on job start date
  • Result ALL leads DAILY
  • Obtain sales tactics the company has defined
  • Manage all products you sell (including job starts, final install, etc.)
  • Design each customer's landscape to their personal needs
  • Secure contracts and payments efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Maintain communication with all current and past customers
  • Compile pertinent information throughout the week for weekly sales meeting
  • Check emails daily/hourly
  • Clock in and out daily to track all work-related hours
  • Report any on site or customer issues to supervisor
  • Review contracts with customer in depth, answer any questions the customer has regarding the contract or company documents

Qualifications:

  • Artificial turf or landscaping experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Punctual to all appointments and meetings
  • Previous experience with artificial turf
  • 1+ years previous outside sales experience
  • Ability to measure accurate sq. footage
  • Experience with G-mail, Google Drive, Salesforce, & other CRM systems
  • Creative thinking with ability to sketch/draw
  • Reliable transportation
