ALTA IT Services is staffing a contract opportunity for a HR Support Specialist to support a leading health insurance customer. The individual must have a friendly personality, with a positive attitude to help others. Responsible for responding to general associate inquiries about human resources programs, procedures, and policies. Serves as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries for the workforce. (Tier 1 support). Assist functional teams daily to ensure all customer requests are handled in a timely and confidential manner.
Pay: $29/HR
90% Remote
May need to go into Baltimore/ D.C. office 3-4 times a year
Responsibilities:
Responds to general intake inquiries from employees and manages the process necessary to bring to resolution in a timely manner.
Reviews and gathers feedback continuously on how to improve HR processes, sharing with HR Shared services team members.
Partners with Management and HRBP to ensure corrective action plan is implemented.
Responsible for conflict resolution, legal compliance, trend and root cause analysis and provide recommendations for reducing the number of overall employee relations issues.
Acts as a liaison with functional areas with HR; ensuring understanding of processes.
Reviews and gathers feedback continuously on how to improve HR processes, sharing with HR Shared services team members.
