Freedom Capital Markets (FCM) seeks a dynamic, detail-oriented Human Resources Manager team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, be able to work under pressure and create strategies, including communication of our employee value proposition and building a pipeline of quality candidates across departments aligning with the organization's core values and vision. The candidate will support employee lifecycle programs, including talent acquisition, training and professional development, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and DE&I initiatives.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the corporate team on talent acquisition, career development, performance management, retention, and leadership development.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in Human Resources and employment law.
  • Draft and distribute internal Human Resource communications as needed.
  • Partner with the corporate team to drive employee engagement; plan, organize, and manage culture initiatives.
  • Track and provide KPI data to department and executive leadership.
  • Work closely with the corporate team Director to assist with the new hire process and manage all onboarding/offboarding tasks and activities.
  • Lead and manage the company's year-round internship program, which includes recruitment and programming.
  • Recommend and plan training and development programs for individual contributors that provide skill development and professional growth opportunities.
  • Support and organize DE&I initiatives, including training and developing content and programs.
  • Support on employee relations matters, such as performance management and terminations, as needed.
  • Recommend and develop initiatives, programs, and solutions to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization.
  • Support the execution of Human Resources initiatives as they arise.


Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience within corporate recruiting function or executive search.
  • A strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and practices is also essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong relationships at different organizational levels.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.


Reporting Relationships

The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Location

New York – On-Site

The successful candidate would prefer to be geographically accessible to our New York office. However, there is the flexibility that this individual could work some of the time from a home office situation.

Compensation

An attractive compensation package will be designed to attract the genuinely exceptional candidate to this critically important position. The package will be offered based on background and experience.


Salary: $125K-$150K Base / Bonus Eligible
