We are actively seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (Local Candidates) to support the day to day activities within the HR department. This position involves working closely with our HR team to ensure a highly positive candidate experience, managing the onboarding/offboarding process, and helping to cultivate a great culture for our employees. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, an eagerness to learn, and a passion for fostering an environment where all can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the HR and Recruiting Team
  • Managing the onboarding and offboarding notifications
  • Maintaining our swag inventory and ensuring employees receive necessary items
  • Scheduling interviews, assisting with candidate travel as needed, and processing related expense reimbursements
  • Initiating background checks and monitoring for completion
  • Working with vendors to get them set up in our system and ensuring agreements are in place
  • Invoicing submission and management
  • Updating our company intranet site
  • Maintaining HR page in SharePoint and HR Calendar
  • Act as back up for payroll processing
  • Perform other duties as needed, with an opportunity to get involved with a variety of HR tasks

The Person

Education: A bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimally Required

  • 1 to 3 years of Human Resources experience preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to achieve a shared goal
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
  • Strong sensitivity to maintaining confidential information and acting with discretion at all times
  • Top notch organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Highly Preferred

  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with ADP/Payroll
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm to join a passionate, collaborative, and dedicated Human Resources team
