We are actively seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (Local Candidates) to support the day to day activities within the HR department. This position involves working closely with our HR team to ensure a highly positive candidate experience, managing the onboarding/offboarding process, and helping to cultivate a great culture for our employees. Key Responsibilities
Supporting the HR and Recruiting Team
Managing the onboarding and offboarding notifications
Maintaining our swag inventory and ensuring employees receive necessary items
Scheduling interviews, assisting with candidate travel as needed, and processing related expense reimbursements
Initiating background checks and monitoring for completion
Working with vendors to get them set up in our system and ensuring agreements are in place
Invoicing submission and management
Updating our company intranet site
Maintaining HR page in SharePoint and HR Calendar
Act as back up for payroll processing
Perform other duties as needed, with an opportunity to get involved with a variety of HR tasks
The Person
Education: A bachelor’s degree preferred.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimally Required
1 to 3 years of Human Resources experience preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Passionate about people and how they function together to achieve a shared goal
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
Strong sensitivity to maintaining confidential information and acting with discretion at all times
Top notch organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Highly Preferred
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with ADP/Payroll
High level of professionalism and integrity
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
