We are seeking a Controller with experience managing several select service hotels from a centralized location who is strong with M3.

Job Details

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Hospitality Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for

• Overseeing all financial operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and banking.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financial operations.
• Developing and implementing strategic financial plans to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and providing actionable insights.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Managing the company's budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
• Leading the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
• Implementing and maintaining financial reporting systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Collaborating with other department leaders to drive process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting systems such as SAP, Sun, Sage, Inflow, Opera, OnQ, Fosse, Skytouch, SynXis, and ChoiceAdvantage.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
