In the context of the entity's projects, the HSE officer is who will be responsible for the health and

safety on site for our new project in West Virginia.

As HSE officer will be in charge to maintain health & safety during all the project exaction.

Scope

• Maintain compliance with all health and safety standards from the company &
• regulations from federal safety legislation.
• Establish a cordial and professional relationship with the on-site team, customer &
• sub-contractors.
• Conduct regular safety meetings on weekly basis to share best practice techniques
• and promote safety initiatives.
• Conduct monthly on-site safety audit with the customer, on-site team &
• subcontractors to ensure health & safety compliance from all parties.
• Identify potentially hazardous materials or practices in the workplace.
• Maintain document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for
• management.
  
  

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or an associate degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering
• or related field.
• Registration as a Health and Safety Officer.
• Excellent knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety legislation.
• At least 3 years' experience as safety officer or equivalent in construction and/or
• general industry environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
