Government Relations Internship
Our Government Affairs Intern will work closely with our Washington, DC-based Government Affairs team as well as TEL’s executive leaders in providing research and administrative support for TEL’s government affairs initiatives.
Responsibilities :
$25-$30 an hour

Government Relations Internship
Our Government Affairs Intern will work closely with our Washington, DC-based Government Affairs team as well as TEL’s executive leaders in providing research and administrative support for TEL’s government affairs initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Summarize relevant congressional hearings, executive branch reports, industry organization meetings, and think tank events and publications.
- Draft preparatory materials for company executives, including briefings, biographies, agendas, memos, and policy talking points.
- Research, monitor and provide updates on legislative and regulatory activities and help determine their impact on TEL.
- Support Government Affairs team initiatives, events, and other activities and assignments as needed.
- Current student of a master’s degree program focused on political science, public policy, international affairs/relations, economics, technology policy, relevant STEM (e.g., engineering, computer science), business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of technology policy issues.
- Japanese language skills desired, but not required.
- Must be able to work throughout the fall semester (10-20 hours a week).
- Required Reporting Location: 601 13th St NW, Washington, DC 20005.
