We are offering a remote, national contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented FP& A Manager/Supervisor in the manufacturing industry. The candidate will play a crucial role in the company's growth by partnering proactively with business leaders, conducting cost/benefit analyses, evaluating business opportunities and building business cases.
Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to evaluate business opportunities and build robust business cases
Conduct cost/benefit analyses to support decision-making processes
Plan for the company's future by forecasting and modeling financial trends
Support the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and monthly reporting & analysis processes
Evaluate variances to plan/forecast and prepare monthly business review materials
Lead special projects, typically involving financial analysis to provide leadership with financial data
Act as a thought partner to support resource allocation decisions
Drive corporate growth and profitability by managing capital and budget processes
Utilize CRM, Microsoft tools and other accounting functions to manage and track financial data
Work closely with the C-Suite to align financial planning and analysis with company objectives.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry
Demonstrated experience in Budget Processes and Capital Management
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to the C-Suite
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong skills in Forecasting & Modeling
Experience in Manufacturing is a must
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; an MBA or relevant certification (such as CMA, CPA) is preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels within the organization
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
