The Financial Planning & Analysis Supervisor will be responsible for facilitating, coaching, and providing leadership for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. Analyze and provide possible resolutions to business issues. Develop controls and database structure enabling financial information accuracy, complete capture and appropriate information for analysis. Oversee statistical reporting function and maintain working knowledge of the process for performing complex database information retrieval and analysis to meet financial and state reporting requirements. Serve as the primary support person for Accounting by ensuring data integrity and automation of the financial reporting process.

This position will be in Omaha, NE, and can be hybrid up to 50% at descrition of management. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

  • Facilitate, coach and provide general leadership for daily operations of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team.
  • Provide mentorship and development of unit personnel.
  • Develop controls and database structure enabling financial information accuracy, complete capture and appropriate information for analysis.
  • Oversee the filing of statistical reports and complete reports as necessary with regulating bodies including the NCCI, WCIRB, and states.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Finance department processes and identify areas where automation will increase speed, accuracy and the quality of the information generated by the financial reporting process.
  • Respond to inquiries from auditors (internal and external), state regulators, and others regarding financial transactions, balances, and procedures.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, or related field or equivalent. Preferred Certified Public Accountant or MBA
  • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience
  • Management experience
