Supporting Families with Children with Special Needs
In this role, you will be responsible for developing a support system for parents of children with serious emotional disorders.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing a support system for parents of children with serious emotional disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Increasing Family Knowledge and Awareness:
- Assist and coach families to enhance their understanding of their child's needs.
- Assist families in establishing positive relationships with child and family team members.
- Link families with support groups and community resources to provide additional assistance.
- Offer moral support during crises and other critical periods.
- Provide helpful materials such as videos, books, articles, or online resources.
- Assist families with preparing for meetings and participate in defined activities by the treatment team.
- Submit necessary documentation promptly and collaborate on progress notes within specified timelines.
- Contribute to developing individualized service plans tailored to family needs.
- Work closely with the Interagency Human Services (IHS) team and follow the guidance of the CPRC Youth Supervisor.
