Enterprise Architect - Azure

Location: Remote, US

*This position is not eligible to be performed in New York, Colorado, Oregon, or California.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into cloud solutions and deploy, upgrade, or migrate to the newest technologies.
  • Review existing architecture and configuration plans and make appropriate recommendations to ensure future supportability.
  • Conduct supportability reviews and provide a detailed assessment of a product’s current or planned configuration.
  • Make recommendations on the best course to business scenarios that will reduce the time needed for successful deployments or migrations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of critical situations and make recommendations and plans for preventing recurrences.
  • Collaborate with the TAM to examine ticket trends and identify recurring issues and common threads. Analyze issues and engineer changes to proactively prevent and solve current problems.
  • Lead reactive troubleshooting or proactive service delivery, such as a risk assessment or a health assessment.
  • Act as the SME through design, implementation, and support of solutions with Azure.
  • Deliver technology-specific training that can be tailored and delivered in person or online to increase the client teams’ skills and depth of knowledge on key Microsoft technologies.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and application releases.
  • Plan and configure work management, efficiency, and collaboration platforms and features.
  • Perform technical architecture, design, installation, troubleshooting, and advisory services for clients’ projects.
  • Articulate effectively to both technical and non-technical resources across all levels of an organization.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to connect and influence diverse audiences and inspire change and adoption of new technologies.
  • Participate in problem analysis and assist to determine strategic software solutions and improvements to address identified issues.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012R2 or newer), Azure Active Directory, cyber security, and OSS.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Enterprise customers in a consultative capacity.
  • Experience in implementation, migration, and upgrades across Azure.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with organizational change processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an extended team.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations to audiences varying in size.


Preferred Certifications/Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert


Education:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.


Compensation:

$65/hr to $75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
