Darigold is seeking a Strategic Transformation Director to help lead a strategic and operational transformation.

This role provides the opportunity for an analytically minded individual with strong leadership skills to help lead Darigold through this transformation as a trusted partner to the Chief Transformation Officer and the rest of the Senior Leadership Team. The Transformation Office operates in a unique space between strategy, execution, and financial results. It is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to rapidly grow as a strategic thinker, operationally minded leader, and financial principal.

The successful candidate will lead strategic planning efforts and drive cross-functional decision making that will accelerate growth, while emphasizing the importance of organizational health. Additionally, this individual will work with Senior Leadership Team members to establish outside-in targets for the business, and to work closely with peers in the Transformation Office to maintain accountability.

Specific projects will include research, analysis, financial modeling, and forming recommendations related to emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, strategic investments, competitive threats, and internal business performance improvement.

This candidate will have exceptional communications and relationship-building skills, with experience partnering with senior executives to identify strategic and operational issues impacting the business, as well as proposing strategic options to explore. The candidate will operate independently, acting as an analytical and intellectually curious leader structuring analyses and strategies, and articulating recommendations to a wide range of business leaders.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic planning
    • Lead annual strategic planning process.
    • Understand and gain alignment on sources of long-term value.
    • Develop an outside-in perspective of benchmarks and targets.
    • Drive long-term projections alongside Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Cross-functional problem solving and decision making.
    • Identify cross-functional decisions that can unlock value.
    • Act as a thought-partner to decision sponsors: owning decision logic and analysis to support recommendations.
    • Maintain the backlog of critical decisions: setting the pace of the organization.
  • Execution Support
    • Understand critical initiatives requiring support.
    • Analyze blockers of key actions, and work as a leader to un-block or escalate.
    • Assess initiatives that have succeeded or failed to synthesize and syndicate lessons learned.
    • Lead complex cross-functional drivers of value (e.g., new products, new investments, inorganic opportunities, financing)
What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or in a related area. MBA and CPA or CFA strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one of the following: Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or Corporate FP&A
  • Strong quantitative skillset and financial acumen, and ability to form sound financial judgements through analysis, modeling, and estimation.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams in previous roles.
  • Proven track record of strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfort with a workplace predicated on radical candor (personal care and direct challenges) that will enable rapid personal growth.
