We are currently seeking a result driven Director of Operations to join our growing business in the North American market. Director of Operations’ role would be to manage day-to-day operations and to play a crucial role in supporting business growth by putting efficient workflows in place to maximize a company’s productivity and performance.
We are looking for a member of our leadership who will develop long-term operational strategies, working closely with management to meet company objectives and take part in bringing the company to the next level.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operations and processes to assure business growth and execution of established strategies
Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
Manage day-to-day operations in the 60,000 SQ FT facility to assure smooth business workflow and progress
Direct action across the organization and managers to improve efficiency and cost optimization
Communicates and explains new directives, policies or procedures to managers, explain changes, answer questions and maintain morale
Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, sales, manufacturing/warehouse, customer service to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry and community
Work closely with management to build effective teams and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Oversee customer support process and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
Manage relationships/ agreements with external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Manage procurement and resource allocation
Manage IT needs/ activities of the business’s IT infrastructure, systems, services to assure smooth work flow for the business and its users
Adhere to the company’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed
Review company documents regarding communication and productivity, working with
management to implement hiring procedures and communicating with upper management to improve company operations
Oversee important internal company events and work with different departments to coordinate effectively and successfully.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred
Extensive and diversified background with at least 7 years of related experience
Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
Advanced skills with spreadsheets, databases and data query
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
Proven experience building, mentoring, motivating and leading high performing teams and attracting/ retaining top talents.
