Reports to: Chief Medical Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical Services to oversee specialty services such as TMS and Spravato services. The Director will be oversee the training of physicians as well as mid-level providers on such services at a National level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Leadership:
  • Work with the Chief Medical Officer to develop and implement strategic plans to improve specialty services at Harmony Bay Wellness.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Ensure that all specialty services meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Oversee all Lead Prescribers
  • Oversee medical protocols, guidelines, and quality assurance for specialty medical services at Harmony Bay Wellness.
  • Assist the Chief Medical Officer in educating both medical and clinical providers on the benefits of specialty services.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Build effective relationships with other departments, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to coordinate patient care and support organizational goals.
  • Participate in departmental meetings.
  • Quality Improvement:
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve the quality and safety of specialty services.
  • Work directly with the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Medical Operations to analyze data on specialty services.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements when it comes to TMS and Spravato.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Work with the Marketing Department to educate medical providers nationally on the services offered at Harmony Bay Wellness.
  • Technology Integration:
  • Stay informed about advances in medical technology and recommend upgrades or changes as needed regarding specialty services.

Patient Care

  • Will be responsible for 20 hours of direct patient care per week

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care with 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Knowledge of TMS and Spravato services as well as regulations associated with each.
  • Experience with medical technology and electronic health records.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of medical care and patient safety .
