About The Position
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Finance plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner in managing our USA's financial operations. Leading a dedicated finance team, the Director oversees financial management, office administration, and technology, ensuring integrity and efficiency across all financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Lead all aspects of financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and systems management.
Manage annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting processes, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders and oversee financial oversight committees.
Coordinate audits and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Office Administration
Oversee payroll processing and vendor procurement, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Manage relationships with external service providers, including legal, banking, and IT vendors.
Support cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Organizational Leadership
Foster a positive team environment, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
Collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
Financial Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; minimum 10 years of professional experience in finance and operations management.
Strong knowledge of financial practices, donor compliance, and US Government regulations.
Experience with financial software platforms and complex financial systems management.

Salary and Benefits
The position offers an annual salary range of $125,000-$155,000, commensurate with experience. USA provides a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, FSA, life insurance, 401k, annual professional development stipend, and generous paid time off.
