Job Title : Director of Electrical Sales

Reports to : Vice President of Sales

FLSA Status : Exempt

Job Summary

The Director of Electrical Sales is responsible for scaling and representing the ProSource brand in the market of electrical sales. This role will be responsible for the development of the lighting component of the business. The Director of Electrical Sales will be accountable for ensuring sustainability and growth within the market.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing electrical sales within the market.
  • Responsible for lead management.
  • Responsible for performing inspections for estimation and order quality assurance.
  • Responsible for generating and building a long-term sales pipeline through business development relationships.
  • Responsible for the management brand development through market research and organization participation.
  • Required to meet performance standards for lead flow of a minimum of (____ per week).
  • Actively manage all aspects of the customer lead flow process.
  • Develop and deliver quality output, customer service, and profitability.
  • Evaluate sales opportunities to align priorities and resources to meet customer needs.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to strengthen the electrical sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with sales leadership and other stakeholders to meet assigned targets.
  • Responsible for the sales cycle for electrical sales from initial opportunity to finalizing and closing the deal.
  • Responsible for collaborating with VP of Sales to ensure organizational collaboration, resource allocation, and best practice recommendations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field preferred.
  • At least 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.
  • Four (4) years inside sales management experience required.
  • Five (5) years creating new or upselling sales channels is required.
  • Experience with products and industry knowledge is required.
  • Experience within a growing business is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
