Current Opportunity: Director of Business Solutions

Location: Texas - Houston or Dallas

Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Remote

What you will do:

Workplace Options is seeking qualified candidates for the Director of Business Solutions. This position will be an integral part of the sales team. The primary role of the Director of Business Solutions is to generate agreed volumes of new business revenue across the Private, Third & Intermediary sectors. The position requires strong selling skills combined with the ability to build strong business relationships at the highest level and to professionally represent Workplace Options at all times. This individual will manage all sales activities within the south eastern states.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet annual sales quota selling employee benefits and support services.
  • Respond to sales opportunities including proposals, presentations, meetings, follow up, and contracts.
  • Consult with business leaders and senior management for input to sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and manage sales and marketing metrics and performance indicators to maximize all elements of the selling processes.
  • Build relationships across the organization and strategically leverage those resources to help secure new business.
  • Connect customers' business needs with internal product and service offerings.
  • Identify and cultivate new prospects and work with current clients to service and enhance existing relationships.
  • Develop and execute a cold calling strategy to target prospects.
  • Establish personal relationships with key account contacts and decision makers therein.
  • Develop and leverage 3rd party relationships such as brokers and consultants or established resellers.


Qualifications/Skills:

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Expert negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make responsible decisions, and solve problems.
  • Ability to set priorities, leverage internal resources, and meet deadlines.
  • 8 or more years of experience in business development.
  • Previous consultative selling experience is a must.
