DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER / MANAGER ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking a creative and forward thinking Digital Marketing Manager and Manager Assistant to join our Seattle, WA team. This is not a remote position. 


As a Digital Marketing Manager you will be actively involved in social and digital marketing campaigns for music clients — including but not limited to the day-to-day execution of social media objectives (content creation, copywriting, community management) across all digital touchpoints (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) 


As a Manager Assistant, you would be working directly supporting Red Light artist managers with specific clients. This would cover many areas of artist management, including recorded music, touring, publicity, merchandise, publishing and more. 


You will combine your learned knowledge of a client’s objectives and the current landscape of best practices to collaborate on effective strategies across all areas of a client’s business, most paramountly in the digital marketing field. You will be called on to present forward-thinking integrated campaign marketing concepts and be able to collaborate and effectively communicate with other members of the team, clients, and partners.


You are to have an in-depth understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices, with the ability to independently conceptualize and execute innovative social media activities.


The position requires a passion for music, a big picture understanding of the ever-changing landscape of the music and entertainment industries, a creative approach to problem solving, and astute attention to detail.


This position is full-time and is based in Seattle, WA


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Responsible for various day-to-day tasks such as social media community management
  • Work with management teams to develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies on digital advertising platforms
  • Provide in-depth reporting / insights / analytics for clients and competitive analysis of campaigns
  • Participate, contribute, and brainstorm in meetings – bringing a forward thinking creative mindset
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and platform updates related to social media and digital advertising platforms, suggesting new tactics and features that meet campaign objectives



EXPECTATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience managing social / digital marketing campaigns. Our ideal candidate has experience managing the day-to-day activity of digital profiles for a brand or at an agency. Previous experience in entertainment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of all major social channels, including platform specific algorithms, advertising platforms and features
  • Strong creative copywriting skills, with attention to detail, and the ability to match an artist’s voice
  • Basic working knowledge of paid digital advertising (Meta, Google Adwords, TikTok Shopping) a plus
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience organizing and managing a visual content and asset library
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with other team members
  • Exceptional communication, time and project management skills
  • Ability to work long, irregular hours as needed
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast paced environment.
