We are seeking a highly skilled Curriculum Designer to join our team in Pasadena, CA.
Position Overview:
As a Curriculum Designer at RIDE Coach and Bus, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining training materials to support the professional growth and development of our customers. This role requires expertise in various design and multimedia tools, technical writing, and e-learning software. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and trainers to create engaging and effective training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Design: Develop and maintain training materials, including instructor-led presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and other resources.
2. Multimedia Expertise: Utilize PowerPoint, Photoshop, FrameMaker, Illustrator, and Adobe products to create visually appealing and interactive training materials.
3. Technical Writing: Write and edit clear, concise, and accurate training content, manuals, and documentation.
4. Desktop Publishing: Apply desktop publishing techniques to format and layout training materials for optimal usability and readability.
5. E-Learning Development: Leverage e-learning software, such as Articulate 360, to create engaging and interactive e-learning modules.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to gather content, review materials, and incorporate feedback into the curriculum.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of training materials through regular quality checks and updates.
8. Stay Updated: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in curriculum design, multimedia development, and e-learning technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, Education, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in curriculum design, technical writing, and desktop publishing.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, FrameMaker, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with e-learning software, specifically Articulate 360.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
