The Keller Group is excited to partner with our client in the equipment rental industry on their search for a Credit & Collections Analyst. This role contacts customers with past due accounts receivable balances, and performs soft collections activities in the pursuit of the collection of those balances. Additionally, this role collaborates with sales management in the pursuit of collections through sales relationships. This is primarily a telephone-based job and there is an expectation of high call throughput and consistent and organized collections activities. This role has the additional duty of helping to analyze the creditworthiness of customers who apply for credit terms, and making recommendations to management on terms and credit limits.


Credit & Collections Analyst Responsibilities


  • Contacts customers primarily through the use of the telephone, in pursuit of collections of past due accounts receivable balances.
  • Organizes collections activities based on guidance from management, as well as own judgment of the magnitude of past due balances, primarily indicated through aging and size of balance.
  • Assists customers in acquiring missing invoices and statements of account.
  • Works closely with Accounts Receivable Specialist to resolve billing discrepancies as needed.
  • Analyzes customer creditworthiness, and recommends credit decisions to management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.



Credit & Collections Analyst Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related experience required, with demonstrated success in B2B collections conducted primarily over the telephone.
  • Past credit analysis experience is advantageous, but not required.

  • Ability to be tactful in difficult conversations with customers, while maintaining good relationships with them.
