The Creative Operations Manager will grow TDA through effective marketing and communication. This position functions as an internal service provider by collaborating with TDA, and TDA Meeting, staff to develop marketing strategies and campaigns for membership, programs, and services.


The Creative Operations Manager will work with internal team members to establish an overall marketing strategy for each program or service, create goals and objectives for each promotional campaign, coordinate project milestones and production schedules, write copy, design collateral materials and graphic elements, and track metrics. In addition, this position will manage the TDA and TDA Meeting websites along with TDA’s digital/social media platforms.

Texas Dental Association

  • Become an expert on communicating and marketing the value and benefits of TDA membership, programs, and services.
  • Create marketing plans, campaigns, and supporting content across print and digital mediums to activate and engage Texas dentists in the Association.
  • Design graphic collateral related to marketing campaigns, social media posts, eblasts, programs and services.
  • Logo and brand development across multiple programs and services. Includes creation of brand guidelines for all marketing materials.
  • Manage TDA’s website. Regularly review site functionality, recommend updates and enhancements, and provide content recommendations.
  • Provide online support for website users as well as tech support for internal staff.
  • Create, post, and edit the content on TDA’s website.
  • Includes front-end and back-end development (full stack developer) as well as UX, which focuses on user experience, accessibility as well as the overall look and feel.
  • Create and post on social platforms to engage members via social media platforms.
  • Produce and market podcasts for the Association.
  • Accomplish project milestones, production schedules, and associated vendors.
  • Measure the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns, communication efforts, social media efforts, and TDA’s website content by tracking appropriate metrics as established in consultation with the department director.
  • Report metrics to the department director and internal team/participating departments by specified deadlines following campaigns.
  • Perform blast emails that abide by the approved TDA blast email protocol.
  • Assist with the development of marketing budgets.
  • Adhere to internal authorization protocol throughout each step of a project or campaign (client expectations, design, production, vendor selection, budget guidelines, etc.)
  • Work with the department team to ensure that all print and digital assets promote the Association’s brand and reflect the appropriate voice.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to listen to their needs and goals and share ideas.
  • Be dedicated to meeting and exceeding goals and timelines while managing multiple projects and campaigns.
  • Be a great team player. Possess the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.


TDA Meeting and Continuing Education

  • Design annual graphic collateral for all marketing campaigns.
  • Manage front and back-end web development for the annual TDA Meeting website.
  • Create, post, and edit the content on TDA Meeting website and selected social platforms.
  • Develop interactive features to enhance user experience.
  • Regularly review site functionality, recommend updates and enhancements, and provide content recommendations.
  • Provide online support for website users as well as tech support for internal staff.
  • Design preliminary program, TDJ insert, and badge insert for annual TDA Meeting. This involves displaying content in a visually appealing layout, creating aesthetically pleasing images that accompany the written text, and utilizing appropriate photos from previous events, as well as stock photography.
  • Utilize and develop graphic collateral related to marketing campaigns, social media posts, and eblasts related to TDA Regional Learning and Dentist Symposium programs and events.
  • Create annual banner signage and app graphics for TDA Meeting


ADA 15th

  • Design graphics for promotional items, signage, and website for the ADA 15th District Trustee event at the ADA annual meeting.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred (four year college or university)

Experience: Three to seven years of related experience.

Computer Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office, Adobe Design Suite, Canva, and Hootsuite experience

Other Requirements: Strong organizational and project management skills. Creative and solutions-oriented. Team player.
