EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for maintaining the standards of our Credit and Sales talent by providing comprehensive training regarding Lendistry’s lending processes. This role will partner with the Learning and Development Manager, company executives and department leaders to help determine areas for employee improvement, develop, improve, and facilitate training courses for new and existing employees and track employee performance after the completion of training. The Corporate Trainer has a passion for helping others achieve new levels of understanding and will contribute to Lendistry’s culture of ongoing learning and professional development.

While this position will be based in Orange County, California, there will be a need to travel to other Lendistry locations for in-person training, including, but not limited to Los Angeles, Dallas, Baltimore, and New York.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the company’s management within the Training, Sales, Credit and Risk departments to identify training needs, schedule and facilitate appropriate in-person and virtual training sessions for Sales and Credit employees covering all aspects of the lending process and Lendistry specific platform functions.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with department leaders and managers to assist in the design and creation of high-quality role and KPI-specific in-person, virtual and online training programs, curriculum, documentation and other training materials for New Hire orientation and on-the-job training for the Sales and Credit departments.
  • Facilitate a variety of learning activities including small group activities, projects, simulations and role-playing, games quizzes and testing designed to elevate training engagement and ensure incorporation of training into day-to-day lending functions.
  • Coordinate and conduct “Train the Trainer” training to develop subject matter experts (SME’s) within the various sub-departments within the Sales and Credit departments.
  • Provide support and mentoring for new employees within the Sales and Credit departments.
  • Provide input for improvements to the overall training program, training curriculum, documentation, and other training materials.
  • Travel, as necessary, to provide in person training to Lendistry’s various office locations.
  • Anticipate and prepare for future training needs within the departments.
  • Assist in meeting department goals and special projects as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or training certificate preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a trainer in a variety of environments
  • Experience with Salesforce required
  • Lending or similar experience required

SALARY

$85,100 - $103,400/annually, depending upon experience and location
