Keadjian Associates, a leading strategic communications and management consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, is looking for a full-time, experienced content writer to start work immediately.


Keadjian seeks an exceptional writer and editor who can quickly develop engaging, clear and accurate content and efficiently incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have over five years of writing experience in corporate communications, public relations, public affairs, journalism or a similar role. Previous experience working in the energy, utility, land use, infrastructure, or environmental remediation sectors is preferred.

Our team is headquartered in Walnut Creek. We offer the flexibility to primarily work from home, contingent on business and client needs. From time to time, travel may be required for client meetings, events, team-building activities, training and mentoring sessions.


This role requires working Eastern Time hours.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop content strategies that align with client goals and industry trends, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Draft and edit high-quality, client-ready messaging and materials (e.g., talking points, press releases, fact sheets, website copy, executive speeches, op eds, etc.)
  • Review and edit materials to improve the language and tone; ensure messaging optimizes the client’s brand voice and engages the targeted audiences.
  • Conduct meetings with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information and insights, and provide strategic feedback on content.
  • Copy edit and fact-check materials.
  • Use SEO practices to optimize news articles and website copy to increase web search visibility.
  • Work closely with the in-house graphic design team for visual treatments to enhance materials.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of writing experience at a corporate communications, public relations or public affairs agency, journalism or comparable position
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and message consistency.
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between multiple projects, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of keyword analytics and SEO.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), media and social tracking tools i.e. Cision, Muckrack, Sprout etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience working with clients in the energy, utilities, land use, infrastructure, and environmental remediation sectors.


Expected Salary: This position offers a base salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 per year, alongside industry-leading benefits such as end-of-year profit sharing and a performance bonus program for eligible employees. The starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including years of experience, relevant experience type, education and more.


Additional Benefits and Compensation: Keadjian Associates offers a discretionary bonus program for eligible employees, with bonuses awarded based on performance and contributions at the Company’s sole discretion. Additionally, eligible team members can participate in the Company’s 401(k) Program, with a contribution based on the percentage of employee’s annual total compensation. The Company also offers group health, dental and vision insurance coverage for eligible employees, and the Company pays one hundred percent (100%) of its employee’s premiums for the offered medical benefit plans.
