Construction Risk Manager

A critical aspect of projects managed by Foster CM Group is managing risk. We are seeking a Construction Risk Manager to use appropriate construction claims analysis techniques to analyze critical paths and predict possible delays. This allows our Project Managers to mitigate delay impacts and negotiate necessary time extensions in an equitable way.

We are seeking an experienced Construction RISK MANAGER for a full-time position located in our Dallas, Texas office.

This position will be responsible for and participate in the following types of efforts relative to aviation construction projects:

• Implementation of complex program management/contract administration procedures.
• Preparation, negotiation, and evaluation of Request for Equitable Adjustment proposals.
• Preparation, negotiation, and evaluation of Construction Claims (CPFF, CPIF, IDIQ) type of contracts.
• Recordkeeping is critical. Early resolution of potential construction claims, and avoidance of formal disputes rest heavily on the quality of records prepared during the construction project.
• Manage change processes and communicate clearly to the construction Project Manager.
• Ensure financial approval levels for change orders are appropriate for work at hand.
• Specify how costs are calculated for changes orders (for example, the schedule of rates) to aid in elimination of construction claims.
• Resolve issues quickly and fairly.
